Following on the heels of their mind-boggling 806 HP, street legal Cadillac CTS-V, Team Predator has been applying their considerable skills to their latest project, “Silver State Mustang ”. This phenomenal project is the brainchild of Greg Murray, local Ford, Lincoln-Mercury dealer and lifelong performance enthusiast. Greg has successfully campaigned his 2003 Mustang in the 150 MPH class at Nevada’s Silver State Classic Challenge (www.sscc.us) for the past several years and felt it was time to move up to the no-holds-barred “Unlimited” class.

Beginning with a brand new ’06 donor car the vehicle was completely disassembled and thoroughly evaluated. The first order of business was to strengthen and stiffen the stock Mustang platform. This was followed by fabricating and installing a custom roll cage suitable for the task at hand - an all out assault on 90+ miles of freshly paved, two lane public highway. The next order of business was the power plant and after much deliberation Greg selected a 400 cid small block Ford for his foundation. A custom installed, intercooled F1 Procharger unit delivers significant boost to the Trick Flow intake system which will easily deliver the 800+ needed to power this creation beyond the 200 mark. Custom headers and exhaust system built by the guys in the shop along with a multitude of performance upgrades by Predator’s award winning engine department round out the credentials on this monster. Steeda suspension components, custom fuel cell, a modified 3D Carbon body kit along with plenty of custom fabricated bits and pieces are only the beginning for this mega-Mustang.
